Why people buy Built for exact trip dates Accuracy guarantee

One wrong assumption can turn a dream trip into a wasted day.

A permit you didn't know you needed. A trail closed for the season. A restaurant that stopped taking walk-ins years ago. Generic advice can't catch these — we check every detail against your actual dates before it costs you anything.

Best for

First-time visitors, short trips, and permit-heavy parks.

It helps most when travelers do not have much margin for bad sequencing, missed booking windows, or outdated advice.

The problem

Memory-based planning tools treat changing park details like static facts.

That is how people end up with confident plans that break on closures, access rules, timing, or logistics once the trip is real.

The difference

Your itinerary reflects what's actually true on the ground right now — not what was true when a blog post was written.

The goal is not generic inspiration. The goal is a cleaner plan with fewer avoidable misses.

A refined itinerary that shows exactly what to do, what to book, where to eat, and what deserves attention.

This is not a recycled route or a generic AI export. It is a client-specific trip file built around your dates, your priorities, and the logistical realities of the trip.

Day-by-day itinerary design

A clear daily structure built around your pace, group, must-do priorities, and realistic travel flow.

Permit and reservation guidance

The booking windows that matter are called out directly, along with the permits, activity reservations, and dining guidance that affect the trip.

Dining suggestions and timing solved in advance

Drive-day mismatches, crowded entry periods, and the timing around worthwhile dining stops are handled before they become your problem.

Inside an actual Park Concierge itinerary

A real four-day Zion trip file delivered to a client — the exact format and depth you receive.

The process is simple, personal, and deliberately low-friction.

The goal is not to create more admin for the traveler. It is to replace scattered research with a cleaner planning sequence.

Zion, February 2025 — the trip that started this.

Not generic trip inspiration. A sharper planning layer for trips where the details actually matter.

Hi, I'm Kyle. I've planned my own trips to Zion and beyond — and nearly blown more than one on details I didn't know existed: a permit lottery that closed months early, a trail advisory buried three pages deep on the NPS site.

So I built the service I wanted: someone who checks live permits, closures, and alerts against your actual dates — and finds the dinner spot worth driving for — so the only thing left to do is show up.

Straight answers before you decide.

No jargon, no fine print you have to hunt for. Here's exactly what to expect.

Why pay for this instead of using ChatGPT or free trip guides?

Free tools don't verify moving details for your exact dates. This turns scattered sources into one checked, trip-specific plan.

Do you make permits or restaurant reservations for me?

No. The itinerary tells you what is worth booking, when it opens, and how it fits into the trip. You make the actual bookings yourself.

How custom is the itinerary?

It is built around your dates, your group, your pace, and your priorities. It is not a template and it is not a generic AI output.

What happens after purchase?

You complete the intake form, approve a trip brief, and receive the final itinerary within 72 hours of that approval.

What if my trip dates or plans change?

Changes made within 24 hours of submitting your intake form are free — just let us know and we'll update the plan at no extra cost. After that window, a date change means re-verifying everything from scratch for the new dates, so it starts as a fresh trip order. Either way, your original itinerary is never lost.

What if I'm not satisfied with my itinerary?

Every itinerary includes one revision at no extra cost. If it includes an incorrect permit requirement, closure status, or posted NPS safety alert for your stated dates, you're covered under the Accuracy Guarantee for a full refund.

Can this cover more than one park in a single trip?

Not yet. Right now, each itinerary is built around a single park, so the verification process can stay focused and accurate for that location's exact conditions and dates. Multi-park trips may be added as an option in the future.

Start the trip with a plan built on facts, not guesses.

Your custom itinerary is verified against live sources before delivery and includes dining recommendations and reservation guidance where they meaningfully improve the trip.

1. Who we are

The Park Concierge ("we," "us," or "I") is a trip-planning service that helps you plan national park and outdoor trips — including itineraries, timing, and guidance on permits and reservations. The Park Concierge is operated by The Park Concierge LLC, based in Texas.

We are an independent trip-planning service. We are not a licensed travel agency, tour operator, or government agency, and we are not affiliated with the National Park Service, Recreation.gov, or any park authority.

2. What you're buying

Base service: a custom, day-by-day itinerary for a single national park, at the price shown at checkout. This includes our research and recommendations on what permits and reservations to book and when to book them, along with dining recommendations and reservation guidance where they meaningfully improve the trip — but you are responsible for actually booking and paying for them yourself. Multi-park or multi-stop trips are not currently supported.

3. Delivery and turnaround

After you pay, you'll complete an intake form with your trip details. Every trip begins with a preliminary trip brief: we send you a brief by email to review and approve before we build your final itinerary.

Once you approve your trip brief, we deliver your final itinerary by email within 72 hours of your approval.

If you request a revision (see Section 6), a separate window applies: we deliver your revised itinerary within 72 hours of receiving your revision request.

Date and plan changes. If your trip dates or plans change, notify us within 24 hours of submitting your intake form and we will update your itinerary at no added cost. After 24 hours, a date change requires us to re-run our full verification process for your new dates and is treated as a new order — you will need to submit a new payment at the then-current price to begin that process.

Neither 72-hour window includes time spent waiting on you — for example, if your intake form is incomplete, if we need to ask you follow-up questions, or if we are awaiting your trip brief approval or your revision request. A window begins only once you have given us what we need to proceed — your approval of the trip brief, or a clear and complete revision request. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information or delayed responses from you.

4. Permits, reservations, and availability — important

We do not guarantee that any permit, reservation, campsite, or entry will be available or obtained. Availability changes constantly and is controlled by third parties (Recreation.gov, parks, vendors), not by us.

Lottery-based permits (such as Half Dome, Angels Landing, The Wave, and similar) are awarded by chance. We provide information on how and when to apply — you are responsible for submitting your own applications. We cannot influence or guarantee the outcome.

Our service is to tell you what to book and when — not to book it for you, and not to guarantee a result.

5. Accuracy of information and the Accuracy Guarantee

We research and verify details (hours, permit windows, drive times, closures, and posted National Park Service alerts) to the best of our ability at the time your itinerary is delivered. However, conditions change — weather, closures, road and trail conditions, hours, and availability can all change after delivery. You are responsible for reconfirming critical details (especially permits, closures, and weather) close to and during your trip. We are not liable for changes outside our control.

Accuracy Guarantee. If your delivered itinerary contains an incorrect permit requirement, closure status, or posted NPS safety alert that was verifiable and in effect for your stated trip dates at the time of delivery, you may request a full refund under this guarantee by contacting us at hello@theparkconcierge.com with the specific error. This guarantee covers the factual errors described above only. It does not cover changes in conditions that occur after delivery, matters of personal preference, or issues outside our control as described in Sections 4 and 9.

6. Revisions

Your purchase includes one round of revisions to your delivered itinerary, covering adjustments to content within your existing trip brief (such as pacing, priorities, or recommendations). To request your revision, reply to your itinerary delivery email with your requested changes. Additional revisions may be available for an added fee.

A change to your trip dates or destination is not a revision and is instead governed by the date and plan change policy in Section 3, since it requires us to re-run our verification process rather than adjust existing content.

7. Payment and refunds

Payment is due upfront and is processed securely through Stripe. All sales are final, except as expressly provided under the Accuracy Guarantee in Section 5.

The Park Concierge provides a custom research and planning service, not a physical product. The moment you complete your payment and submit your trip details through our intake form, research and planning work begins on your specific trip — including verifying live permit windows, current closures, crowd timing, and reservation availability for your exact dates, park, and group. This work is performed exclusively for you and has no resale value to us or anyone else.

Because this service is custom, time-sensitive, and begins immediately upon your intake form submission, refunds are not offered once your intake form has been submitted — except as expressly provided under the Accuracy Guarantee in Section 5 — regardless of whether your plans change, your trip is cancelled, conditions at the park change after delivery, or you are otherwise unsatisfied with the recommendations.

If you have completed payment but have not yet submitted your intake form, contact us at hello@theparkconcierge.com within 24 hours of purchase. We will review your request at our sole discretion. We do not guarantee a refund in this situation.

8. Your information

We collect the information you provide through our intake form (such as your name, contact details, and trip preferences) solely to research and prepare your itinerary. As part of our research, we may process your trip details through third-party AI research tools. Payment is processed by Stripe, and we do not store your full card details. We do not sell your personal information. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Your responsibility and assumption of risk

Outdoor activities — hiking, driving, camping, and visiting national parks — involve inherent risks, including injury or worse. You are solely responsible for your own safety, decisions, and well-being during your trip. Our itineraries are suggestions and planning tools; you are responsible for assessing your own fitness, the conditions, and whether any activity is safe for you and your party. You travel at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Park Concierge is not liable for any loss, cost, injury, damage, or disappointment arising from your trip or your use of our service — including but not limited to missed permits or reservations, sold-out availability, closures, weather, third-party errors, travel costs, or changes to your plans. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service.

11. Not professional advice

Our itineraries and recommendations are for general planning purposes and are not legal, medical, financial, or professional safety advice.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our site at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
